Follow these steps to get AiONA up and running on your system.
Install AiONA on Windows
Prerequisites
- Windows 10 (1903) or later
- x86_64 architecture
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- Administrator privileges
Download the installer
Download the Windows installer (.exe) from the download page.
Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded .exe installer and follow the setup wizard to complete the installation.
Grant permissions
AiONA needs Network permission to scan your network. Grant the permission when prompted. If a firewall dialog appears, please allow access.
Login and start
After installation, AiONA will start in the system tray and automatically open a browser window. Log in with your account to start using AiONA.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to configure firewall rules?
AiONA uses standard HTTP/HTTPS ports. If you have a strict firewall, allow outbound connections to *.zalous.com on ports 443 and 2026.
Can I run AiONA on a virtual machine?
Yes, AiONA works on VMs. However, for best network scanning results, the VM should have direct access to the network (bridged networking mode).
How do I update AiONA?
AiONA checks for updates automatically. You can also manually check for updates from the system tray menu (Windows/macOS) or run aiona update (Linux).
